IMPROPER WALLS ~ VENNA ~ 2019

Fascinated by the irrational emotions nature evokes, Christa Gaigg and Evalie Wagner create projects that crosscut event, art and design. Their first exhibition “Lo trovi in giardino” was a constructed garden, realised in an old shipping container surrounded by the scenic nature of the Austrian alps. The second exhibition “fiori fiori” was another conceptual installation, accompanied by several side events, in the urban environment of the 15th district in Vienna. The idea is to gather people, art and music to celebrate and explore the ephemeral and poetic aesthetics of botany from different perspectives.
