Naturphilia
an exhibition during the Vienna Design Week 2020

Naturphilia explores the role of design and its relation to the natural environment through tangible artefacts. The exhibited projects try to find a balance between the natural and the artificial, technology and ecology and allow these different realities to coexist. Design that brings nature back to our everyday life: not the romanticised, sanitised, domesticated version of it, but the gritty, wild stuff. The exhibition examines and challenges the relationship between humans and nature and hopes to change our perception of it.
